Christine Willson

Christine Willson (Managing Director)

Chris started as a lecturer in Business Studies at East Riding College, where she worked for 25 years, progressing to Director of External Contracts, Workforce Development and Marketing.

Chris established Llite in 2001, concentrating on quality and business development. 10 years on and her values continue to be focussed on giving people of all ages a second, third or fourth chance to engage in training to build a renewed quality life.

James Epworth

James Epworth (Strategy Director)

James graduated from Leicester University in 2000. Between 2000 and 2006 he worked in the development of Social Enterprises across the Hull area. During this time he wrote a wide range of successful bids and tenders, and supported the development of a number of voluntary, public and charitable organisations. James joined Llite in 2007 and his current role includes identifying business opportunities, bid writing, marketing and developing partnerships.

 

Laura Stead

Laura Stead (Operations Director)

Laura graduated from Leeds University in 2002. Between 2002 and 2005 she administered and monitored a number of regeneration programmes in Hull. In 2005 Laura joined East Riding Council as an Extended Service co-ordinator - a post which involved reaching out to local families and developing projects to enrich lives.

Laura joined Llite in 2008 to develop systems and processes, maximise performance and further embed quality systems into all Llite activities.

Matthew Malkin

Matthew Malkin (Operations Manager)

Matt left the Army in Feb 2008 with the substantive rank of Corporal and was employed by Llite as a Plastering Tutor in South Yorkshire. Matt’s strong leadership skills were quickly recognised and he held a number of management positions at Llite before being promoted to Operations Manager in July 2010. In his current role he manages and oversees the performance of various contracts and staff across Llite.

Kevin Agius

Kevin Aguis (Head of Curriculum)

A time-served tradesman, Kevin worked for Hull City Council from 1987 – 2001 as an Internal Verifier and Assessor on a range of training programmes, including Highways Maintenance, Warehousing, Manufacturing and IT Repair. He worked on a number of regeneration capital projects in deprived areas of Hull in the 1990’s and helped establish the well known Refurbit recycling business.

Kevin joined Llite in 2003 where he is responsible for Curriculum Development, Internal Staff Training, Internal Verification and liaising with external awarding bodies.
