Courses for Young People

Llite has a number of free practical courses aimed at school leavers and people aged 16-19, who are just starting their careers. We offer training in a variety of crafts, flexible start dates and experienced staff. Llite has developed a reputation of providing quality, work-based learning for young people. Training focuses on workshop based ‘real world’ learning delivered by tutors that are time served tradespeople - and vastly experienced!

Young Adult Support Programme

Duration: 5 weeks Location: Hull

Young Adult Support Programme is a five week construction training course. Learners will undergo a range of training in Bricklaying, Plumbing and Plastering.

Pre-Apprenticeship Training (LEAP)

Duration: 22 weeks Location: Hull

Learning, Employment, Apprenticeship and Progression (LEAP) is a new and innovative course designed for young unemployed people in the East Riding.

Diploma Level 1 in General Construction or Joinery

Duration: 22 weeks Location: Hull

During your time at Llite you will complete a Construction Awards Alliance Diploma Level 1 in General Construction or Joinery.

Construction Skills

Duration: 8 weeks Location: Hull

Construction Skills is an eight week free construction training programme including a mixture of trades including, Joinery, Bricklaying, Plumbing and Plastering.

Access 2 Construction | Scunthorpe

Duration: 26 weeks Location: Scunthorpe

Access 2 Construction is a new course designed to improve the lives of young people through construction training.

Access 2 Apprenticeships | Hull

Duration: 7 weeks Location: Hull

Access 2 Apprenticeships is a new course designed especially for unemployed young people who want improve their lives through a career in construction.

Multi-skilled Tradesperson

We have a multi-skilled tradesperson available to start work immediately. They are a CSCS card holder, Health and Safety Passport holder and they have on-site experience.

We have a self-motivated, experienced tradesperson available to start work immediately. They have a full Apprenticeship in bricklaying and plastering, as well as a CSCS card.
